Current Action Item: Installing Crosswalk Visibility Signs

Where: Horace Harding Expressway & Marathon Parkway

Why: This is a known school crossing for MS 67 and PS221Q students and families. In separate incidents, there was one adult pedestrian fatality and one student serious injury at this location within the past year.

Steps you can take: Please call the Queens Borough Division of the NYCDOT at (212) 839-2510. Ask them to support installation of Crosswalk Signs on Horace Harding Expy at the intersection of Marathon Parkway. This pedestrian safety enhancement would be a relatively low-cost improvement with significant impact.
