We salute and honor those who served and sacrificed in the Armed Services so that we may walk safely in freedom.

The Little Neck Pedestrian Safety Group

Registration is now closed for walking in the Little Neck Douglaston Memorial Day Parade with the Little Neck Pedestrian Safety Group.

The Little Neck Pedestrian Safety Group (LNPSG) will be participating in the 2024 Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade. The start time for the parade is 2:00 pm. However, all registered participants are expected to arrive at 1:00 pm at our assigned starting location.

Residents and families of Little Neck and Douglaston, New York will be given priority for registration. However, Friends and Family members of residents of Little Neck or Douglaston, New York may also participate and walk with us in the parade, space permitting. Please note that space is limited. We will confirm receipt of your registration form, and follow-up with final confirmation emails before May 10th.

Only registered volunteers may walk with us in this parade. Additionally, Registered Volunteers agree to abide by and comport themselves within the guidelines and code of conduct promulgated by the Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade event organizers. The Little Neck Pedestrian Safety Group reserves the right to decline or refuse registrations at its sole discretion.

We will provide free custom-printed T-shirts to the first 35 Registered Volunteers. The parade route travels from Northern Blvd approximately from the border of Great Neck to St. Anastasia Church.  This parade occurs once a year and takes place rain or shine. Consequently, please wear comfortable shoes and weather appropriate attire. Please note that custom printed Little Neck Pedestrian Safety Group T-shirts must be worn by those walking in the parade with us.

Memorial Day honors members of the United States Armed Services who lost their lives in service to our country.
